Teen Producers Project 

Every Saturday until August 23

The TEEN PRODUCERS PROJECT or TPP teaches teens the basic principles of documentary filmmaking while producing 2-3 minute digital stories. Students will learn basic lighting and audio techniques, storyboarding, camera skills, and how to edit their projects in Final Cut Pro 7.  (ages 14-19)

Saturday’s from 10am – 2pm

$20 per class or $180 for all 12 weeks

Advanced Teen Producers Project

Every Saturday until August 23 

The advanced TPP class is designed for teens who already know the basics and want to take their skills to a new level. Instructed by local film leader and long time MACSD instructor, Jodi Cilley, the advanced class plans, produces, and edits a short narrative film

Saturday’s from 10am – 2pm

$35 per class or $350 for 12 weeks

Museum of Photographic Arts and MACSD Youth Voice Collaborative 

June 23 – July 16

The project based experience will engage students in video production, photography and visual arts as they produce a multimedia project that will redefine how young people access and engage with art museums.

Teen Short Film Boot Camp (Session 1)

July 21-25

Students will write, produce, direct and edit a film under the guidance of professional media artists. Using professional digital equipment, students will learn the art of filmmaking as they collaborate with their peers to create story driven short films. Once completed, students will premiere their film on the big screen at the Digital Gym Cinema.

Monday – Friday 9:30am – 4pm

$350(non-members) or $250(members)
