New! Online Summer 2020 TEEN FILMMAKERS BOOT CAMP! Produce your own narrative film and submit to film festivals!
This updated 5-day on-line course provides teens (ages 12-18) with the unique opportunity to produce short narrative films under the guidance of professional filmmakers. Students will pitch a story, write a script; as well as direct, produce, edit, and market their short films to be screened on-line w/ a virtual Q&A for family & friends at end of each week.

ABOUT OUR TEEN FILMMAKERS BOOT CAMPS
Our weeklong Summer Teen Filmmakers Boot Camp classes take place at the Digital Gym, a multi-purpose community space in North Park managed by the Media Arts Center San Diego, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing filmmaking tools and media education to under-resourced communities in an effort to create social change.

Need-based scholarships are available for students who qualify for the free and reduced lunch program at school. Full and partial scholarships are available on a case-by-case basis. Apply Here
REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY:
There are no refunds for camps. To receive credit for future camps, cancellation is required at least one week in advance of the start date of camp. Credit will be valid for one year, and will be equal to the amount paid, less 10% for processing fees. Media Arts Center San Diego may at times need to cancel classes due to low enrollment, at which point a check reimbursement will be issued, less 10% for processing fees.
- MACSD is not responsible for providing refunds or offering makeup sessions for camps missed as a result of illness, emergencies or events beyond the student’s control.
MACSD will confirm cancellation via email.
