Fall & Winter Youth Media & Tech Camps 2019-2020
Where youth flex their creativity and technology muscles by creating their own movies!
In our Fall & Winter Camps, youth ages 6-14 will learn cinematography, editing in iMovie or Final Cut Pro, stop motion, create storyboards, and use our Green Screen studio! A matinee of their completed films are screened on the last day of camp to a full house in our independent movie theater, the Digital Gym Cinema! No experience necessary!

Cost: $100- $250 per week (depending on session)
Hours: 8:30am- 3:00pm
Late Pick-Up: until 5:00 pm ($65/week)
Early Drop-Off: starting at7:30 am ($65/week)

ABOUT OUR CAMPS
Our weeklong Fall & Winter Camp classes take place at the Digital Gym, a multi-purpose community space in North Park managed by the Media Arts Center San Diego, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing filmmaking tools and media education to under-resourced communities in an effort to create social change.

Scholarships: Need-based partial scholarships are available for students who qualify for the free and reduced lunch program at school. Apply Here
There are no refunds for camps. To receive credit for future camps, cancellation is required at least one week in advance of the start date of camp. Credit will be valid for one year, and will be equal to the amount paid, less 10% for processing fees. Media Arts Center San Diego may at times need to cancel classes due to low enrollment, at which point a check reimbursement will be issued, less 10% for processing fees.
- MACSD is not responsible for providing refunds or offering makeup sessions for camps missed as a result of illness, emergencies or events beyond the student’s control.
- MACSD will confirm cancellation via email.
