ABOUT OUR CAMPS
Media Arts Center San Diego, has been providing filmmaking workshops for all ages for 21 years throughout the County of San Diego. Since the COVID pandemic hit, MACSD has been offering all of our education programs virtually. But, now we are excited to once again bring back these camps IN-PERSON! During our 5-day camps, youth flex their technology and creativity muscles by producing original movies. Using a project-based learning model, campers learn pre-production, production, and post-production skills and techniques, such as storyboarding, cinematography, online video editing, as well as Green Screen photography and Stop Motion!
MACSD is a community partner with Girl Scouts San Diego. Cadets can earn a Digital Movie Maker Badge!
