Baltasar Kormákur’s (EVEREST, 2 GUNS) directs and stars in THE OATH, a psychological thriller about a father who tries to pull his daughter out of her world of drugs and petty crime, only to find that danger can be found in unexpected places.
Finnur is a devoted father and husband, an ordinary man living an ordinary life in a quiet suburb of Reykjavík. Faced with his daughter’s drug addiction he attempts to save her from her drug-dealing boyfriend. In his desperation he’s driven to plan and commit the perfect crime.
