This Dread Central documentary, To Hell and Back: The Kane Hodder Story tells the history of a famous stuntman who survived a near-death burn accident to eventually become FRIDAY THE 13th’s Jason!
Dread Central Presents’ first documentary project, To Hell and Back: The Kane Hodder Story, is the harrowing story of the famed stuntman who overcame a dehumanizing childhood filled with torment and bullying in Sparks, Nevada. Hodder also later survived a near-death burn accident which led him to eventually go on and don the infamous hockey mask of Jason Voorhees. An on-screen legend, Hodder has killed more people on screen than any other actor ever.
“Inspiring, life-affirming, and beautifully crafted, … [a] documentary that highlights the importance of horror as a genre, as a form of art, and as a means of catharsis.” – Dread Central
