“Deep Cuts” is a new series celebrating lesser known films and performances from the careers of major cinema icons. 

One of the true movie stars of the post-modern era, Keanu Reeves has helped redefine both the sci-fi and action genres with his portrayals of Neo in The Matrix and the unstoppable assassin John Wick in the eponymous gun-fu franchise. But those two great performances only scratch the surface of a truly varied and impressive film career that has spanned four decades. In our inaugural showcase of “Deep Cuts,” we bring you a quartet of equally mind-bending cinematic oddities from the fringes of Reeves’ filmography.

Synopsis: In the near future, as America virtually loses the war on drugs, Robert Arctor, a narcotics cop in Orange County, Calif., becomes an addict when he goes under cover. He is wooing Donna, a dealer, to ferret out her supplier. At the same time, he receives orders to spy on his housemates, one of whom is suspected of being Donna’s biggest customer.
