Synopsis: A high school clique comprised of three popular girls — Courtney, Julie, and Marcie — accidentally kill their friend Liz during a birthday prank involving a jawbreaker candy. In a desperate attempt to cover up the incident, the girls concoct a series of lies, but their plot begins to unravel when the socially awkward Fern Mayo stumbles upon their secret and is transformed into the stylish and confident Vylette. As the cover-up becomes increasingly complicated, the film explores themes of deception, power, and high school hierarchy.
