Film Geeks SD and Bonkers Ass Cinema Presents: Viideodrome and The New Flesh Party!

Time to get weird with a film screening and music event where body horror meets dance.This unique event will kick off at 5pm with a screening of David Cronenberg’s iconic masterpiece VIDEODROME, setting the tone for an evening where television is reality, and reality is less than television. After the screening, the dance party will start in the lobby with acid house, disco and dark wave beats at 7pm with an opening set by Eric Leonardis (7pm-8pm) and a headlining set by the legendary DJ Mark E. Quark (8pm-10pm), with dancers provided by the legendary Les Girls Theater. We will also have some cool photo opps for you!

Synopsis: As the president of a trashy TV channel, Max Renn is desperate for new programming to attract viewers. When he happens upon “Videodrome,” a TV show dedicated to gratuitous torture and punishment, Max sees a potential hit and broadcasts the show on his channel. However, after his girlfriend auditions for the show and never returns, Max investigates the truth behind Videodrome and discovers that the graphic violence may not be as fake as he thought.
