Welcome to Film Geeks SD, a group of volunteer film programmers working under the fiscal sponsorship of Media Arts Center San Diego. Check below for information on all our film programming at Digital Gym Cinema from our year-long film series to special events to our partnership with Bonkers Ass Cinema and its Bonkers Half-Assed Midnights (we start at 10:00 p.m. and have you out by midnight).

For 2026, Film Geeks wants you to saddle up for “Wanted Dead or Alive: A Year of Westerns”. Join us for an eclectic array of westerns from a John Ford classic to a Italian spaghetti western to a bonkers entry from Japan’s Suzuki Seijun. We will have themed treats at each screening plus many films will have exclusive intros. If you love westerns we have some classics for you, and if you think the genre is not for you… well we have a few titles that we feel certain will win you over.
